Heroes by nature
We are located at an altitude of 700 m asl: only two wineries in Italy are located higher up. We were born in 1952, following the courageous initiative of some winegrowers and, over time and on the wave of enthusiasm, others joined up to today, reaching a number of about 300.
We have always been a symbol of heroic viticulture: we employ a manual process of about 900-1,000 hours per hectare and an average cultivation of two, maximum three hectares per farmer; all this in Trentino, on the impervious and typical terraces of the Cembra Valley.
The Valley
Cembra is located in the most important European basin of porphyry, also known as ‘red gold’ of the valley, a rock that gives these high-altitude wines, both still and sparkling, three inimitable characteristics: extraordinary sapidity, minerality and persistence. A triumph of flavours and aromas that reveal the wonders of this hidden world that still preserves the best of the tradition and typical values of the Cembra Valley.
